In mid february 2018, Lalita, Durga, Moiti, Purna, Anita & Jivan will be going on a Trek within Annapurna Conservation Area to help raise funds for their wonderful home and you are kindly invited to walk with them!

It is not necessary for you to come to Nepal. You can be a part of the great event by donating a certain distance of the Trek. The minimum distance is 50 m worth 25 € or equivalent in other currencies. Your name will be put on the virtual map and you will get wonderful pictures from your part of the Trek after they have started to walk!

Four of you, the 2 highest donors and 2 others drawn from all the donors, will be invited to join the Trek in person. Our goal is to collect 50,000€ to help cover the annual cost of food, clothing and education for their sisters and brothers at Namaste Children‘s House.

We will be starting our trek in the mid of February 2018. People might consider February not the best time for trekking as people have to struggle more to complete their trekking. But we have selected mid-February as our trek time because by the mid of February winter here in Nepal ends and the time for trekking starts. Nepal is known for its moderate climate but despite of that, the weather can get worst so it's always better to take precautions regarding the climate for trek. Our 10 days' trek will take us from Pokhara through Dhampus, Poon Hill, Dhikur Pokhari then back to our starting point in Pokhara. The total length of the trek is approximately 120 km.
